Dr. Tom Johnson is a General Dentist offering a broad range of services. He can provide a full range of restorative/prosthetic treatment such as implant supported dentures, bridges, and crowns; as well as conventional dentures, partials, crowns and bridges. Cosmetic services are also provided such as porcelain crowns, veneers, fillings, bonded restorations; and full mouth bleaching to whiten teeth. He will perform most extractions and root canals. The practice is well organized to help you with your gum problems (gingivitis/periodontitis).

Dr. Johnson is a third generation California native, but, earned his dental degree [DMD=Doctor of Dental Medicine] at the age of 29 in 1984 from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. His undergraduate studies were in Zoology with emphasis in Chemistry/Microbiology at Cal Poly, Pomona. During the past 3-4 years his post-graduate CE studies have emphasized Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Johnson moved to Napa in 1986 with his new bride, Claudia. The family has grown since then; Tom and Claudia have three daughters: ages 19, 20, and 25.


Dr. Johnson’s daughter, Andrea, is learning Dental Assisting and working in the office when her school schedule permits.
Tom and Claudia can occasionally be coaxed away from work. Excursions with the family are a must for Dr. J. along with backpacking, hunting, and fishing.
